feeling low or depressed; feeling anxious and stressed; family and relationship problems; isolation and loneliness; loss and bereavement; work related issues; abuse – mental, emotional, physical, sexual; dependency – e.g. alcohol, drugs, relationships; eating disorders and difficulties; cultural issues; working with immigrants and refugees; gender and sexuality issues; sexual identity; phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD); panic attacks; effects on victims of crime including violent crime; self harm and suicidal feelings; trauma, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); isolation and feeling physically unwell with symptoms that cannot be diagnosed.
It can sometimes happen that we suggest a referral to another practitioner or organization if that is agreed to be in your best interest.
