You may be having difficulty coping with an aspect of your life. Perhaps your health is suffering, your work is affected or your relationships are under pressure. Therapy provides a space where you have the opportunity to talk about your situation with someone who is trained to listen, to be alongside you and to work with you. The therapist gives you the freedom and support to explore your circumstances. It may be helpful to look at the past in order to make sense of the present and make changes in the future; alternatively you may be seeking strategies to overcome a specific problem.
